\
Q: How do I get autonfsmount to mount the whole disk including a second partition (/clients)?\
\
A: This can be done if:\
\
1) You export both
\pard\tx560\tx1120\tx1680\tx2240\tx2800\tx3360\tx3920\tx4480\tx5040\tx5600\fc0 partitions
\pard\tx960\tx1920\tx2880\tx3840\tx4800\tx5760\tx6720\tx7680\tx8640\tx9600 on the NFS server. As root, edit the
\b /etc/exports
\b0 file and add the entries:\
\f2\fs20 /\
/clients\
\f0\fs28 \
See the Unix man pages for more information on
\b exports
\b0 and
\b exportfs
\b0 .\
\
2) Create a real directory
\b /clients
\b0 on the NFS server.\
\
To create this directory you will need to first unmount the
\b /clients
\b0 partition, use
\b mkdir
\b0 to create the directory, then remount
\b /clients
\b0 . As root, you would do the following steps:\
\
\f2\fs20 myhost>> umount /clients\
myhost>> mkdir /clients\
myhost>> mount /dev/sd0b /clients\
\f0\fs28 \
3) Add the entries for the mounts in the NetInfo
\pard\tx560\tx1120\tx1680\tx2240\tx2800\tx3360\tx3920\tx4480\tx5040\tx5600\fc0 database
\pard\tx960\tx1920\tx2880\tx3840\tx4800\tx5760\tx6720\tx7680\tx8640\tx9600 . The entry for

\pard\tx960\tx1920\tx2880\tx3840\tx4800\tx5760\tx6720\tx7680\tx8640\tx9600\b0 must occur before the entry for
\b server:/
\b0 The output from
\b nidump
\b0 should look something like this:\
\
\f2\fs20 myhost>> nidump fstab .
\f0\fs28 \
\f2\fs20 server:/clients /Net nfs ro,net,bg 0 0\
server:/ /Net nfs ro,net,bg 0 0\
